Fall Season May Signal It's Time to Change Wiper Blades

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL --- The wiper industry experts at Pylon Manufacturing are reminding motorists and visitors to the Automotive Aftermarket Expo (AAPEX) show in Las Vegas Nov. 4-6 to improve driving safety by changing wiper blades.
Pylon Manufacturing is the exclusive licensee of Michelin wiper products.
Michelin's line of wiper blades includes the Michelin RainForce design, recently rated by a national consumer publication as a best buy and available at Wal-Mart as Michelin High Performance. Key features include a compression-molded natural rubber blade with graphite, an all-metal frame and pre-installed connector. The Pylon Manufacturing exhibit at AAPEX (Booth #4038) will feature the complete range of Michelin wiper blade products, including the latest frameless or "beam" blade.
"Many drivers are unaware of the impact prolonged exposure to the sun, repeated trips to the car wash and debris from the road surface can have on wiper blade performance," said Dave Frauman, Pylon's director of engineering. "Heading into the change of seasons with poor or inoperative blades can leave a motorist stranded -- possibly at the worst time and place. If left unchanged, they can also result in permanent and costly damage to your car's windshield from scratching. Changing a set of wiper blades takes so little time, yet it offers huge safety dividends. And when you consider there are blade designs at price ranges to suit every budget and vehicle, there is no reason not to."
