EV Innovations Battery Travels 211 Miles on Single Charge
Using a 29.6 kWh of lithium ion battery energy, EV Innovations has increased the driving range of its LiV WISE electric vehicle from 120 miles to 211 miles.
EV Innovations Inc., has created a battery that increases the drive range of its LiVTM WISE electric vehicle.
Using 29.6 kWh of lithium ion battery energy and the same urban and highway route, the research team of EV Innovation closely working with Superlattice Power Inc., USA, achieved an increase in mileage from 120 miles to 211 miles. The cell voltage range was from 4.2V to 3.3V and driving tests are performed on roads and highways with real traffic situations using experienced drivers.
The development work emphasized on electrical regenerative power, modification of charging algorithm and cell voltage balancing using new version of battery management system.
