ITASCA, IL - EMKAY announced the addition of industry veteran, Gino Fontana, to their Operations Team. In this new role, Fontana will be focused on a number of key strategic initiatives revolving around EMKAY’s domestic and international operations. With EMKAY’s recent Canadian acquisition of JPL Vehicle Management Services, Gino will be creating streamlined North American operations that will provide a consistent product both north and south of the border.

Fontana brings with him over 25 years of progressive leadership experience within the fleet management industry. “Gino has lead critical core functions within the fleet management industry, and brings process and analysis management experience to our operational leadership team,” stated David Nagy, Senior Vice President Operations for EMKAY.

Gino most recently worked for Transervice, a third party logistics provider. Prior to that, Fontana spent over 20 years at Wheels Inc, where he managed an array of operational relationships with key supply chain partners including all domestic and foreign automobile and truck manufacturers, truck upfitting vendors, all maintenance and collision vendors and truck DOT/regulatory vendors.

Nagy also stated, “Gino’s extensive background has helped him lead organizations to significantly improve quality, customer satisfaction, reduce cycle times, and cut costs by utilizing skills in process improvement, relationship management, and sales support.  This will no doubt blend well with EMKAY’s progressive culture and initiatives.”

Fontana has a BA in Organizational Development from DePaul University and is also a certified Process Master through Hammer and Company, a world leader in process redesign and education.
