ITASCA, IL - EMKAY, Incorporated announced their selection as one of the 2010 winning companies in the 101 Best and Brightest Companies in Chicago for 2010. This is a result of an independent research firm, National Association for Business Resources (NABR) that thoroughly evaluates each company's entry in the following categories: communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, diversity and multiculturalism, employee education and development, employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, recruitment and selection, and work-life balance. This year's winners practice innovative strategies and represent best practices in human resources from numerous industries.
"We are honored to be recognized for the second straight year by NABR as one of Chicago's 101 top organizations to work for, stated Greg Tepas, Chief Executive Officer for EMKAY. This achievement is a testament to our dedication to create a positive employee experience.
This goes beyond employee attraction and retention. A key reason for this focus is simply that we strongly feel there is a very strong correlation between employee satisfaction and client satisfaction. Further, we are particularly excited this year as there are deep initiatives to even further enhance our employees' experience."
The selection, recognition and awarding of this year's 101 companies allows our organization to showcase their best practices. The honorees have clearly demonstrated why each of them would be an ideal place for employees to work. Companies that capitalize on their greatest resource, their employees, know how to attract and retain top talent," said Jennifer Kluge, President of NABR.
