In 2020, 158,500 true fleet vehicles were sold in the Netherlands, which is 48,100 fewer than 2019, Dataforce said.
The No. 1 best selling fleet model was the Tesla Model 3, with 7,477 units in 2020, while the Volkswagen ID.3 sold 7,292 units and came in second, Dataforce said. The podium is completed by Kia Niro.
Meanwhile, total vehicle sales in 2020 was at 356,100, down by 89,100 units, according to Dataforce.
Private sales decreased by 11.5%, which represents around 16,800 vehicles. The most popular car amongst private buyers has been the Kia Picanto, followed by the Toyota Yaris, and the Renault Captur.
