Conference on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems Set for March
In its fourth consecutive year, the ADAS Sensors 2019 conference led by Microtech Ventures will be held from March 20 to 21 at The Henry Hotel in Dearborn, Michigan, and will focus on new developments and future requirements in advanced driver assistance systems technologies.

In its fourth consecutive year, the ADAS Sensors 2019 conference led by Microtech Ventures will be held from March 20 to 21 at The Henry Hotel in Dearborn, Michigan, and will focus on new developments and future requirements in advanced driver assistance systems technologies.
These technologies include video, radar, LIDAR, as well as ultrasonic and infrared sensors. They are being increasingly utilized by original equipment manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers. The conference will explore emerging trends surrounding these various technologies — including their impact on roadway safety.
ADAS provides technology for safer and better driving, including collision and pedestrian avoidance, lane departure warnings, rain detection, sign recognition, automatic parking, driverless systems, and more.
The ADAS market was estimated at $32 billion in 2017 and is expected to reach $60 billion in 2025. Through in-depth presentations and discussions, thought leaders in the field will examine the factors driving market growth as well as the consumer demands that will shape future developments.
Topics that will be explored include emerging applications; impacts of enabling artificial intelligence, as well as virtual and augmented reality for ADAS applications; future of networked mobility; ADAS sensors and functional safety; and reliable testing methodologies and techniques.
ADAS Sensors 2019 will also include a Startup Showcase and in-car technology demos.
