BRENTWOOD, TN — Comdata Corp. has implemented enhanced reporting and controls for Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) and other alternative fuel types. As fuel-efficiency standards and green initiatives evolve with the transportation industry, this expanded capability offers companies detailed insight into their alternative fuel purchases.
“The transportation industry is changing at a rapid pace,” says Brett Rodewald, Comdata president. “As DEF and other alternative fuel types develop, our fleet customers can rely on the value and versatility of our solutions to help them manage their business more effectively.”
Through Comdata’s customer reporting platform, iConnectData.com, Comdata can now provide reports on the quantity, price per unit, and total amount purchased for over 100 different fuel types, including DEF. This gives Comdata’s customers expanded access to data from all of their fuel purchases, as well as stronger controls to manage how such transactions occur. The alternative fuel types are integrated into Comdata’s platform, and Comdata is working with merchants in the over-the-road market to make the necessary changes at the point of sale.
