LAS VEGAS --- Clear Channel Radio announced last week that its Total Traffic Network (CCTTN) reached a multi-year agreement to provide real-time traffic data on 2008 Volvo XC90, S40, V50, C70 and C30 models equipped with factory-installed navigation systems. Real time traffic-capable Volvos began rolling onto U.S. show room floors last month. The deal marks CCTTN's third deal with an original equipment manufacturer following agreements with two other automotive brands. Volvo will be launching a radio advertising campaign on Clear Channel stations during the first quarter of 2008 to let customers know about the new feature. "Volvo, long known for their outstanding safety record, continues to be at the forefront of consumer satisfaction by delivering what their drivers want," said Jeff Littlejohn, executive vice president of distribution development for Clear Channel Radio. "By offering our real-time traffic service as a standard feature on most models that are navigation-equipped, drivers will not only get to their destination in a safe vehicle, but will be able to avoid road congestion."
