There’s reorganization going on at Audi UK as Claire English is appointed Head of Fleet, the leasing and fleet executive moving over from an equivalent position at Volkswagen UK’s Commercial Vehicles division.
English’s appointment is effective July 12, taking over from the outgoing James Buxton who is leaving the business.
She comes with a strong pedigree in the VW Group, having joined the company as a graduate in 2003, spending time out in the network as a fleet sales executive with Skoda followed by a varied range of roles covering Product, Marketing Communications and Sales Operations at Skoda, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
Further experience in fleet was gained when English served as the national contract hire and leasing manager for Volkswagen before her most recent role with the Commercial Vehicle division.
Commenting on her appointment, Andrew Doyle, director of Audi UK, said:
“We are delighted to welcome someone of Claire’s expertise to the team. At a time when we begin to dramatically expand our line-up of fully electric e-tron models, Claire’s wealth of operational fleet knowledge and focus on customer experience will ensure that she is a very strong asset to the business, and our top management team.”
