Chery will introduce its Exeed compact SUV in Europe in 2018, and will offer three powertrain variants, including a plug-in hybrid.
Chery will launch its new compact SUV, the Exeed TX, sometime in 2018. The Exeed TX is offered with a 1.6TGDI engine that boasts a maximum power of 190 to 218 hp and peak torque of 202 to 236 lb.-ft., according to the automaker.

An electrified powertrain choice will also be available via a plug-in hybrid electric model that can switch between two modes of transporation: the hybrid-electric mode and pure-electric mode. The pure electric mode can be fully charged in under four hours, according to the automaker.
The plug-in hybrid powertrain will be combined with a 1.5 litre petrol engine that offers 147 hp, and 114 hp on the electric motor, according to Auto Middle East.
Features of the Exeed include a 10-inch touchscreen, built-in Wi-Fi, a 360-degree round-view camera, park assist, and panoramic sunroof, according to Auto Middle East.
