Patricia Alonso has been named fleet manager for Boehringer-Ingelheim in Canada, working out of the multinational pharmaceutical company’s Canadian office in Burlington Ontario.

Most recently, Alonso served in fleet management positions for Johnston Equipment, a Canadian machinery manufacturing company headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, and U.S.-based Praxair Inc. a chemical manufacturing company with offices in Canada. Her career also includes stints at PHH Arval and Element fleet management companies.

Alonso holds several industry certifications, including NAFA’s Certified Automotive Fleet Manager and Certified Automotive Fleet Specialist designations, and GE Canada’s SimLean and Support Central certificates.

Fluent in English and Spanish, she also is a volunteer driver in the Canadian Cancer Society’s Wheels for Hope program.
