SALEM, OR --- A Willamette Valley, OR-based consortium hopes to build a biodiesel research and education campus that's focused on development of new commercial biodiesel fuel sources.
According to the Daily Journal of Commerce, Chemeketa Community College, Pacific Biodiesel Technologies and developer Wildwood Inc. have submitted a proposal for $10 million in funding to Oregon's congressional delegation. The proposed 30,000-square-foot facility would be built next to Pacific Biodiesel's existing Salem plant. The facility would include classrooms, small-scale test labs and large-scale pilot programs.
