Connie Barton replaces Joel Lund as director of global operations. She'll be responsible for driver and retail customer services as well as supply chain networks including collections and fleet services.
Barton recently served as head of networks where she played a pivotal role in the company’s pandemic response, ensuring essential fleets remained mobile during lockdown and maintaining customer service standards.
A 37-year Arval employee, Barton’s other senior leadership positions include head of sales and partnerships and chair of the business’s shadow executive team.
Lund, whose leasing sector experience spans more than 25 years, will assume overall responsibility for Arval UK commercial activities, including corporate, retail and partner sales channels. He replaces former commercial director Paul Hyne, who has moved outside the business.
Lund joined Arval UK in 2008 as head of corporate sales. As global operations director for the last three years, he has been involved in securing group investments to support UK customers as well as setting international benchmarks.
“Both [Barton and Lund] have a wealth of knowledge about customer needs and aspirations coupled with an in-depth understanding of the fleet and mobility sectors. We are sure they will excel within their new role,” said Arval UK Managing Director Lakshmi Moorthy.
