Axalta Coating Systems, a global supplier of liquid and powder coatings, has introduced Centari line of refinish coatings for collision body shops in Colombia. A part of the Cromax brand family of refinish products, Centari is an alternative-coating system designed to save time and costs through the use of a mixing machine that makes paint preparation easy and economical, according to the company.

Centari’s solvent-borne refinishing system is ideal for any size of repair, type and color. It is designed to save drying time, allow easier application, and maximize body-shop performance. Centari includes a range of advanced color tools for accurate color matching, with over 125,000 color formulations in solid, metallic and pearlescent effects, according to the company.

“Colombia will be the first country in Latin America to have the complete Centari system. With this new refinish portfolio we seek to meet and satisfy the daily needs of body shops while saving them both time and money. The product will also be available in additional markets including Peru and Ecuador later in the year,” said Ricardo Abisambra, Axalta’s manager in Colombia.
