Avis Fleet Services Earns 3 Awards for Fleet Management Services
SOUTH AFRICA - Avis Fleet Services recently received three awards from PMR Africa for its work in providing fleet management services to the private sector, public sector, and an overall combined rating for both private and public sectors.

The Avis Fleet Services team celebrates the receipt of the top three awards from PMR Africa for being the best fleet management company to the private sector, to the public sector, and the overall winner.

SOUTH AFRICA - Avis Fleet Services recently received three awards from PMR Africa (Professional Management Review), a magazine aimed at both the business sector and decision makers within the government. PMR Africa conducts annual surveys and identifies leaders within various sectors.
After conducting its national survey on fleet management companies providing fleet management services to the private and public sectors, PMR Africa has awarded Avis Fleet Services the highest rating in the following three categories:

Fleet Management Companies Providing Fleet Management Services to the Private Sector. Avis Fleet Services received the highest rating with a mean score of 4.10 out of a possible 5.00 and received the Diamond Arrow Award.
Fleet Management Companies Providing Fleet Management Services to the Public Sector. Avis Fleet Services received the highest rating with a mean score of 3.82 out of a possible 5.00 and received the Golden Arrow Award.
Combined Ratings for Fleet Management Companies Providing Fleet Management Servicesto the Private and Public Sectors. Avis Fleet Services received the highest rating on a mean score of 3.96 out of a possible 5.00 and received the Golden Arrow Award.

Awards are the result of a research process whereby companies and institutions are rated based on respondents perceptions with a very strong focus on evaluating and measuring customer service and customer satisfaction. The awards are also indicators of a company or institution's competencies.

Respondents were required to rate the fleet management companies across a range of 19 attributes, namely:

Advice on vehicle selection.
Analysis of fleet and company requirements.
Assistance with vehicle acquisition.
Benefits.
Car allowance scheme alternative requirements.
Cost.
Drafting car policies.
Finance.
Fuel management.
Insurance management.
Maintenance management.
Provision of the correct vehicle (for any application at the best price).
Real-time information.
Reliability.
Replacement timing.
Turnaround time.
Vehicle disposal.
Similarly, Avis Fleet Services Namibia has also received a PMR.Africa award in the following category:
Business Sector: Fleet Management Companies in Namibia. Avis Fleet Services Namibia is highest rated on an overall rating of 4.05 out of a possible 5.00, and will be presented the Golden Arrow Award at an awards function in February 2011.
The function will be attended by approximately 200-250 corporate and government leaders.
