In her new role Appleton oversees the development, deployment and ongoing business growth of this new venture from FLD, Inc., a leading provider of vehicle remarketing services to commercial fleets and financial institutions. "Launching a new business venture like ActionAssets.com is never easy, but Grace has the dedication, passion and vision to make it successful," said Gary Mott, Vice President of FLD, Inc.
With more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, Appleton has done everything from selling new and used cars to developing websites and sophisticated eCommerce systems. Her previous employers include GMAC, JMSolutions and ADESA.
Now, she brings her extensive experience in remarketing strategy and eBusiness to the growing field of online auctions for government and company assets.
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Appleton and her family have traded the cold Northern climate for sunny Florida beaches. Fluent in Portuguese, she also enjoys vacationing in Europe.
