Alphabet Teams with E.On to Provide EV Charging Services
The partnership will offer Alphabet customers a full range of charging services from EV charging provider E.On, including planning and installation, charge point operation, and maintenance.

E.On operates one of the largest EV charging networks in Europe with more than 36,000 public charge points and 3,000 ultra-fast charging stations available via the E.On Drive app.

Munich-based fleet management company Alphabet has partnered with energy solutions provider E.On to give customers access to integrated home, workplace, and public charging solutions, according to Fleet News, a U.K. online industry news resource.
The partnership will offer a full range of charging services, from planning and installation to charge point operation and maintenance.
Alphabet customers can take advantage of exclusive home charging offers, including discounted, fully fitted wall boxes, according to the Fleet News report. Following charger installation, drivers can remotely monitor, control, and optimize charging using the dedicated E.On Drive app.
The plug-in-and-go solution features intelligent charging, allowing customers to schedule overnight charges.
Businesses exploring workplace charging options for employees will also benefit from the newly formed partnership, says Alphabet.
The company will also provide customers advice and guidance on creating and optimizing workplace charging infrastructures, as well as help in setting up and managing ongoing fleet requirements.
Fleet managers can choose from among a variety of payment and driver reimbursement options, with detailed monthly fleet and charging reporting that streamlines billing and remuneration for eligible employees.
Extensive EV Charging Network in Europe
E.On operates one of the largest EV charging networks in Europe with more than 36,000 public charge points and 3,000 ultra-fast charging (UFC) stations available via the E.On Drive app.
Drivers can locate and pay for charging using the app, viewing availability, speed, and cost. A detailed overview of charging sessions is also provided.
Alphabet currently operates a fleet of more than 55,000 electrified multi-make cars and vans throughout the UK.
