Agility Details New ProRail CNG Fuel System
Agility gave an overview of its fifth generation ProRail CNG fuel system on the first day of the ACT Virtual conference, which has capacity options ranging from 30-60 diesel gallons equivalent (DGE) and the ability to be installed on one or both sides of the vehicle.

Agility gave an overview of its fifth generation ProRail CNG fuel system on the first day of the ACT Virtual conference, which has capacity options ranging from 30-60 diesel gallons equivalent (DGE) and the ability to be installed on one or both sides of the vehicle.
The ProRail utilizes carbon fiber composite Tuffshell ACF Type 4 CNG cylinders and is known for its lightweight and durable design and can be configured to meet a wide range of fuel capacity requirements. ProRail is 30 pounds lighter than the previous generation.
The Agility BlueiQ Smart Gauge is also standard equipment on the ProRail and is designed to reduce range anxiety by providing real-time fuel economy, fuel level and distance to empty. BlueiQ’s Eco Mode and helps drivers manage fuel economy and avoid unplanned stops.
The CNG fuel system also comes with a built-in temperature sensors that provide early warning of potential thermal events, in addition to other features such as an integrated bumper bar providing side impact protection.
ProRail can be combined with Agility’s ProCab behind-the-cab CNG fuel systems for added fuel capacity and range.
