The Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) has selected its keynote speaker for its 2013 Conference, Lieutenant Colonel Rob “Waldo” Waldman. AFLA’s annual conference will be held Sept. 11-13, 2013, at the Westin Kierland Resort Resort and Spa in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Rob Waldman is a consultant and former decorated fighter pilot who helps organizations face challenges, focus on a “one team, one mission” philosophy and build more trusting and collaborative relationships, according to AFLA.
“We look forward to Lieutenant Colonel Waldman’s interactive presentation on September 11, motivating fleet managers from across the nation to courageously adapt new skills, commit to successful leadership principles and establish their company’s accountability for excellence,” said Tom Callahan, AFLA’s President. “Lieutenant Colonel Waldman is sure to patriotically translate the theme of our conference, ‘Courage, Commitment, Accountability – Driving Fleet Excellence’ to inspire fleet managers to network with other AFLA conference attendees and ‘never fly solo!’ AFLA has a tradition of offering top-notch speakers at our meeting and we’re certain our members will consider this one of the highlights of the event.”
AFLA is also continuing its membership drive and is looking to grow its 300-strong list of members. You can read more about reasons for joining the organization at AFLA’s website here.
