Who’s leading the charge in fleet transformation? Who’s setting new benchmarks in sustainability, safety, and operational excellence?
Automotive Fleet is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Edward J. Bobit Professional Fleet Manager of the Year Award — one of the most prestigious honors in the fleet industry.
Sponsored by exclusively by Wheels, this award celebrates a fleet professional whose leadership, innovation, and results have left a lasting impact on their organization and the industry at large.
Last year’s recipient was Sharon Etherington, senior manager of regional administrative services at Roche Diagnostics.
Etherington redefined excellence by leading a shift toward a fully electric fleet, elevating driver safety, and realizing over $ 2.5 million cost savings. Her story is proof that today’s fleet leaders are shaping a smarter, cleaner, and more connected future.
“Sharon has certainly set the bar high for the award,” said Chris Brown, Associate Publisher, Automotive Fleet. “I hope Sharon’s great work inspires this year’s nominees.”
If you or someone you know is driving meaningful change in fleet, nominate them next year for the recognition they deserve.
To be eligible for the award, nominees must:
Be full-time commercial fleet managers
Manage more than 100 company-owned or leased cars/light trucks
Be nationally recognized among peers for leadership and results
The winner will be announced at the 2025 AFLA Conference, Sept. 14–17, at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort in Florida, and will be featured in the Q4 issue of Automotive Fleet.
