The 2020 Cadillac XT6 was named China SUV of the Year during an awards ceremony that was organized by editors of Motor Trend in China.

The Cadillac XT6 was selected by judges in the 2020 China Awards Ceremony through an evaluation of several categories, according to GM Authority. These categories included appearance and technology; configuration and space; safety performance and propulsion system.

The judges for this year’s award, which is in its 18th year, were a collection of automotive experts.

The Cadillac XT6 went on sale in the country in July 2019, and boasts a standard 3.6L V6 engine with 310 hp and 271 lb.-ft. of torque, along with a standard 9-speed automatic transmission. It offers a seven passenger seating as standard, and has 78.7 cubic feet max cargo space.
