2014-MY Subaru Forester Draws IIHS ‘Top Safety Pick’ Award
The Top Safety Pick award recognizes vehicles that draw a “good” rating -- the highest rating available -- in four IIHS crash tests: moderate overlap front, side, rollover and rear.
The Subaru Forester, a small SUV, has earned the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s Top Safety Pick designation. The Top Safety Pick award recognizes vehicles that draw “good” ratings in four IIHS crash tests: moderate overlap front, side, rollover and rear.
Redesigned for the 2014 model year, the Subaru Forester joins the previous-generation model as a Top Safety Pick award winner.
The IIHS said it will release results for small SUVs in the new small overlap frontal crash test in the spring.
