The leading thinkers in the global fleet business will be coming together in Brussels, Belgium, June 16-18, 2014, to discuss and debate the opportunities and challenges of managing corporate fleets on a global basis.
This not-to-be-missed global gathering of industry practitioners and experts is being organized by Nexus Communication, publisher of Fleet Europe and Global Fleet, and Bobit Business Media, publisher of Automotive Fleet.
Caroline Thonnon, Global Fleet Leader comments: “After the highly successful launch event in Phoenix, USA, last September the Global Fleet Conference is coming to the heart of Europe to delve into the big issues, find solutions and support corporations implement successful Global Fleet programmes.”
An Agenda Designed by Buyers for Buyers
A two-day agenda of intensive learning and networking is planned with topics covering global fleet strategy and implementation, taxation and regulation, effective fleet management in emerging and high growth regions, and optimizing global fleet reports.
These topics and more will be at the heart of an education program that has been designed by buyers for buyers, and will be led by pioneering corporations sharing their experiences alongside the leading lights in the automotive and fleet management industry. With plenary sessions, round table discussions and one to one meeting opportunities conference attendees will benefit not just from the breath of the agenda, but the array of different learning environments.
The two-day event will kick off with a pre-conference briefing session where the European and the U.S. Advisory Boards of international fleet managers will put the final touches to a new industry association focused on Global Fleet Management. The team will be announcing more about the association at the conference.
“An innovative and exciting community of global fleet professionals is coming together and we are creating a forum for that community to flourish. Come and join the discussion,” Thonnon noted.
On June 16, there are a limited number of meeting rooms available that can be reserved for private business meetings. These will be made available to delegates on a first-come, first-served basis.
Delegates who attended the inaugural Global Fleet Conference in 2013 were full of praise:
Keith Scolan, ITW: “The 2013 Global Fleet Management Conference and the partnership with Fleet Europe was something that needed to be done as everyone starts to look at global programs. The conference offered a great opportunity to talk with fleet managers and suppliers from Europe and Brazil. Listening to everyone, I felt we all have the same concerns and struggles with our programs.”
Giovani Tortorici, Barilla: “I believe that the conference was a success. Congratulations to the organizers. My personal evaluation of the Global Fleet Management Conference is high. I was delighted to listen Mike Antich’s pre-conference speech on the state of the North American commercial fleet market. See you at the next edition of the 2014 Global Fleet Management Conference.”
Pascal Vitantonio, ALD Brazil: “It has been a pleasure to participate in the inaugural Global Fleet Management Conference. This was a great opportunity for networking and for getting updated about the most recent trends in the industry. I greatly appreciated the expertise and professionalism of all presenters, and I felt that all the topics covered were very relevant to our daily practices. Once again, thank you for making this event possible and all the best for future editions!”
Tiffany Whittaker, Jones Lang LaSalle: “I enjoyed the 2013 Global Fleet Management Conference. Overall, the conference was well-planned and executed. It offered a nice mix of structured sessions to open networking time. The range of topics covered was very comprehensive.”
Bruce MacLaren, Microsoft: “Congratulations on a very successful conference! It was a great pleasure to speak at the conference. The agenda was especially good, as it was current, interesting, and helpful. Also, conference attendees varied from fleet managers who were relatively new to global management to those with years of experience.”
