The Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute (AFVi) has served as the connection between fleets and the alternative fuel and vehicle industry. AFVi provides alternative fuel consulting to help fleet managers select alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles that are right for their fleets and offers the technical training necessary to safely and properly operate and maintain those vehicles and fueling stations. AFVi leverages its extensive alternative fuel consulting and technical training experience to help propel the alternative fuel and vehicle industry forward and better serve our clients, fleets.
In a survey in April 2010, AFVi projected that half of all fleets would buy alt-fuel vehicles within three years.
