• Reporting features: A daily summary is sent via e-mail to all corporate safety officers with a list of violations and inactivity for the period requested.
• Custom analytics: For an additional fee, custom reporting options are also available upon request.
Optronics International's Fusion Thinline surface-mounted LED combination is a lamp that includes stop, tail, turn, and backup functions in a common bar light format.
At 20.5 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 3/4-inch thick, the Thinline LED can be mounted in several places on a vehicle, including body panels, frame posts, docking plates, or gussets.
The Thinline’s low-profile design hugs the vehicle surface. This way, users don’t have to cut large mounting holes, which can reduce structural integrity and promote corrosion, according to Optronics. Wiring requires only a 1/2-inch hole and two small mounting holes for either rivets or screws.
The lamps meet all FMVSS 108 photometric requirements for visibility and safety, according to the company. All Fusion lamps come with one-diode lifetime warranty protection that will replace the lamp even if one diode fails. The new Fusion LED combination lamps are expected to begin shipping in early spring.
SafeKey’s trucking and transportation business product acts as a portable real-time safety and security system for drivers and their cargo assets.
The SafeKey fob provides an accessible and convenient emergency alert in the event of a safety or medical emergency or attempted theft.
Different than other solutions on the market, the technology can be activated from up to 150 feet away from the truck cab, according to the company. It will trigger real-time emergency alerts, providing the driver with emergency services and medical attention within 15 seconds, track the location of compromised trucks, and even remotely disable stolen vehicles.
SafeKey’s features include theft prevention, real-time tracking, an SOS feature, remote access, and geo-fence.
Rain-X Latitude, a producer of wiper blades, water repellents, and windshield repair products, offers its Latitude wiper blades to create better driver visibility in rain, sleet, and snow. The blades fit the majority of vehicles on the road.
Rain-X Latitude wiper blades now come with a water repelling coating to deliver even better driving visibility, according to the company. The water repelling coating is applied directly to the windshield by the wiper blades, and the coating can last for months.
The water repellency wiper blades feature an advanced beam-style blade technology that contours to the curvature of a windshield for a streak-free wipe. And each blade’s aerodynamic spoiler minimizes wind lift, delivering a quiet wipe.
Designed with a synthetic blend rubber squeegee, the wiper blades can withstand extreme weather conditions. The pre-installed universal adaptor helps connect the blades on a vehicle for easier installation, according to the company.
