Allaire Limousines of Farmingdale, N.J., has adopted a new, green logo to show it is committed to a clean environment and to the customers who want to make it that way.
The new logo depicts a gasoline and an electric current inside a car battery which highlight the benefits of hybrid vehicles: using less gasoline and running on clean-air electric power. The new logo ties in with Allaire, which is adding the 2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid to its fleet.

CUSTOMERS APPRECIATE NEW LOGO & SUV
The new, green Allaire logo is being added to letterhead, business cards, and marketing materials, says Susan Bennett, director of planning and business development for Allaire Limousines. Allaire Limousines still uses its older, well-known logo as well.
The new logo and SUV are getting positive feedback from clients, Bennett says. Like many other chauffeured transportation companies, corporate clients have been telling Allaire Limousines it needs hybrids and alternative-fuel vehicles.
With such market trends, the Mercury Mariner Hybrid enhances Allaire’s fleet. Such vehicles provide customers with a luxurious, leather interior and a refined, smooth ride while underscoring Allaire’s commitment to nationwide “greening” efforts, Bennett says.
“The only issue is that Mariners are smaller compared to Town Cars, for passenger space and for carrying baggage, in addition to large golf bags, for example,” Bennett says. “If new vehicles come out that better suit client needs, we’ll consider adding them to the fleet. We’re watching what the auto industry is doing.”

Bennett, new to Allaire Limousines after spending years in the logistics, supply chain, and customer service areas with large corporations such as Sony Electronics and Staples, Inc., is working closely with CEO Mike Renehan on promoting the new, “green” program. Bennett is also becoming active in networking and building Allaire’s affiliate network, and closely watching new technology for reservations and other operations. She also points out Renehan’s industry involvement as being important in promoting the new company program.
“He keeps himself apprised of the competitive marketplace, new technology, new vehicles, and also community interests by constantly networking through these organizations, and donating to and attending local community and charitable events,” Bennett says.

The Mercury Mariner Hybrid is the first full-hybrid premium SUV on the market. It can run on electric power at speeds up to about 25 mph while reducing exhaust emissions. It is powered by a V-6 engine, which seamlessly takes over at higher speeds. “This ensures the passenger a safe, secure ride in addition to comfort,” says Mike Renehan, CEO of Allaire Limousines. “Adding the Mariner Hybrid to our fleet is a `win-win’ situation for us,” Renehan says.
