IRVINE, CA — Jaguar has maintained its No. 1 position in the 2005 J.D. Power and Associates Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Study for the second consecutive year. Last year, Jaguar tied for first place, but in the latest study it now owns the first position alone. The Jaguar brand performed particularly well in the areas of “salesperson experience” and “paperwork/finance process.” The SSI Study is based on responses from more than 37,000 new-vehicle buyers who purchased their vehicles in May 2005, and measures the quality of the customer’s new vehicle purchase experience.
