The ninth annual CAR 2004 (the consignors’ show) will feature a broad spectrum of educational opportunities for vehicle remarketers, including speakers, panelists, and an all-star line up of industry keynoters. Each will discuss their remarketing knowledge and insights over three days at the industry’s most comprehensive remarketing conference and trade show, held January 21-23, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

“Where and How Major Factory Remarketers Are Focusing,” moderated by Tony Moorby of Flying Lion, will be the topic of a must-attend seminar on Thursday, January 22, from 9-10 a.m. Attendees will learn what trends to look for, as rebates and incentives, residual values, and other critical remarketing factors are discussed. Moorby’s background includes several years with the British Car Auction Group, ADT Automotive, ADESA, and currently as founder of the new dealer services-related business, Flying Lion. The panel of industry experts represents the major automobile manufacturers and will share insights on focus and increasing profits. They include Jeff Heichel of General Motors, Linda Silverstein of Ford, Keith Helfrich of Daimler Chrysler, and Kent Pace of Toyota Financial Services.

All registered CAR attendees will be eligible to not only attend “Where and How Major Factory Remarketers Are Focusing,” but all three days of seminars, keynote speakers, IARA roundtables, and networking events.
