Auto Driveaway Acquires Majority Interest in Sparkle Mobile
The eco-friendly, water-less car wash and detailing service provider claims this recent move will benefit its fleet clients.

Auto Driveaway Systems, LLC, has acquired majority interest in Sparkle Mobile LLC, a provider of mobile, eco-friendly, waterless car wash and detailing services, the company announced.
Sparkle Mobile LLC, which does business as Sparkl, was founded by Lisa Souter in 2016 as a solution to the problem of needing to wait in line to wash your car. The technology tools and mobile app that were developed for Sparkl allow the company to provide cleaning and detail services directly to customers wherever they’re located.
The company has enjoyed rapid growth across the Chicago area, with a portfolio of clients that include condominiums, apartment communities, office parks, and a number of commercial fleets.
“With Sparkl’s expansion into the markets served by Auto Driveaway, the two organizations collectively add even more value to our commercial fleet customers,” said Rodney Ruth, president and CEO of Auto Driveaway. “Sparkl services ensure that commercial fleets capitalize on clean vehicles that represent their brand for customers and employees alike. All Sparkl services are waterless and completed with eco-friendly products and technology, which allows them to be performed no matter where the asset is located. Most importantly, all services are mobile and performed wherever a customer needs us, maximizing asset uptime.”
Souter will continue as president of Sparkl, which will operate as a standalone entity.
The partnership between the two companies was a natural fit for the organizations, according to the company. Auto Driveaway has an extensive geographic footprint, and Sparkl will perform many of the ancillary services Auto Driveaway already provides to its customers.
Initial testing of Sparkl services have performed exceptionally well for Auto Driveaway, Ruth noted.
