Geotab Acquires Spanish Fleet Compliance Firm

Geotab has acquired Spanish engineering firm that specializes in integrated technology solutions for the heavy-truck market in Europe to help fleets adhere to European compliance laws.

The acquisition of the firm Intendia is designed in part to help expand Geotab’s global presence and will incorporated the company’s integrated technology solutions, which it has provided to customers across the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, France, Sweden, and Portugal. Intendia’s solution has helped to enable fleets to adhere to European compliance laws around driver hours, rest times and speed to facilitate safer driving behavior and improved operations.

Geotab recently announced new office openings in both Rome, Italy and Paris, France and has more than doubled the number of employees working across the European continent over the last year.
