Fleet registrations in Italy were up 1.6% in July following three strong months of growth, and have reached 1.7% year to date, for 2019.
Earlier this year and in late 2018, fleet registrations in Italy had experienced months of declines following the introduction of the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicle Test Procedure, but things have turned around since April, according to Dataforce.
The leading automaker for fleet registrations in the country, in July and year to date, is Fiat, followed by Volkswagen in No. 2, and Audi rounding the top three. Following the remainder of top five automakers for registrations in July alone was Jeep in fourth, and Renault in fifth. The top true fleet models for the month in Italy were led by the Fiat Panda, followed by the Jeep Renegade, then the Peugeot 3008.
The overall market was also up 1.6% for the month of July, according to Dataforce.
