Volkswagen Debuts 2019 Jetta GLI
Volkswagen has debuted its sixth-generation Jetta GLI with more power, improved handling, and features from its Golf GTI and Golf R vehicles, at the Chicago Auto Show.

Volkswagen has debuted its sixth-generation 2019 Jetta GLI with more power, improved handling, and features from its Golf GTI and Golf R vehicles, at the Chicago Auto Show.
The 2019 Jetta GLI is powered by the company's celebrated 2.0-liter TSI engine that powers the Golf GTI and makes 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Performance features include a VAQ limited-slip differential, Golf R brakes, and multi-link independent rear suspension.
The Jetta GLI will arrive with 18-inch aluminum wheels, aggressive front and rear bumpers, black honeycomb grille, rear spoiler, and dual chrome exhaust. Standard features include front and rear LED lighting, 10-color ambient lighting, dual-zone Climatronic, Front Assist, blind spot monitor, and rear traffic alert.
The vehicle arrives with a six-year or 72,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty that can be transferred to a new owner.
Volkswagen will offer the Jetta GLI in two trim grades, as well as a 35th anniversary edition.The 2019 Jetta GLI will go on sale in the spring. Pricing will be announced closer to the on-sale date.
