Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC is recalling an estimated 4,702 2018 GLC vehicles equipped with LED headlights because the front turn signals may feature an incorrect color of pink or violet.

Specific models under the recall include the 2018 GLC300, GLC300 4Matic, GLC350e 4Matic, GLC300 4Matic Coupe, GLC43 AMG 4Matic Coupe, and GLC43 AMG 4Matic.

The wrong color turn signal may not be as easily identifiable to other drivers and could increase the chance of a crash.

To fix the problem, MBUSA will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the color of the turn signal, replacing the LED module, if needed, at no cost to owners.

The recall begins Nov. 9. Owners can reach MBUSA customer service at (800) 367-6372.
