Beginning this week, customers fueling eligible vehicles using GM Marketplace will be able to navigate to the nearest Shell-branded station and use Shell Pay & Save to pay for their fuel and redeem Fuel Rewards savings directly from their vehicle’s infotainment screen.

After a few taps on the in-vehicle touchscreen, a code will be generated that allows the user to activate a desired pump and start fueling. Payment is automatically charged to the payment method on file, with Fuel Rewards savings applied, all without swiping a credit card or using a mobile device.

Chevrolet and Shell announced an agreement to offer this payment option in April. More than 3,000 Shell-branded stations around the U.S. began accepting in-dash payment this week, and more than 11,000 Shell-branded stations will become active in the next month.
