Mobility Ventures Hires Veteran Fleet Industry Exec
Paratransit vehicle manufacturer Mobility Ventures has hired Bill Gibson as its vice president of governmental and commercial fleet sales, the company announced Nov. 2.

Paratransit vehicle manufacturer Mobility Ventures has hired Bill Gibson as its vice president of governmental and commercial fleet sales, the company announced Nov. 2.
Gibson will lead fleet sales for Mobility Ventures, which produces the MV-1, a purpose-built vehicle for wheelchair users and other people with disabilities. Gibson will report to Pat Kemp, executive vice president.

Gibson brings more than 40 years of sales and marketing experience and deep roots in the commercial fleet industry. He joins Mobility Ventures from VNG.CO, a compressed natural gas infrastructure developer. He held the role of vice president of fleet sales.
Prior to his VNG.CO role, Gibson was the vice president of sales and marketing for SCT Performance, which targets speciality products to fleet operators.
Gibson spent 38 years at General Motors, including 21 years in the fleet and commercial operators channel. His roles included director of fleet and commercial sales, director of rental sales, and director of marketing and internal support.
Gibson was an involved in various fleet industry organizations that included American Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA), where he was a past board member, NAFA and the American Automotive Leasing Association (AALA).
