Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) has started delivery of its light-duty trucks to UD Trucks for sale in Japan.

The "Kazet" light-duty trucks are built at MFTBC's Kawasaki plant in Japan The contract between the two companies was finalized on June 25. 

UD Trucks President and Representative Director, Takao Suzuki and MFTBC Board Members gathered at the Kawasaki Plant for a start-of-delivery celebration. 

MFTBC has been working on its growth strategy in Asia. The Asian commercial vehicle manufacturer announced new business operation in Vietnam in July. 

UD Trucks has also been targeting the Asian market. In 2013, UD Trucks presented its new heavy-duty truck range Quester, targeting the truck markets in Asia.
