Gasoline Rises to $3.70 Per Gallon
The national average price of gasoline rose 1.8 cents to $3.704 per gallon for the week ending June 23, reports the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The national average price of gasoline rose 1.8 cents to $3.704 per gallon for the week ending June 23, reports the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
The price of gasoline has been flat since early May, following 12 weeks of consecutive increases that saw the price increase 42.1 cents per gallon starting on Feb. 3. Gasoline is now 12.7 cents higher than a year ago.
During the week ending June 23, the price of regular unleaded rose in eight of the nine regions tracked. Only the Midwest saw an easing with a 2.1-cent decline. The sharpest increase came in the Rocky Mountain region with a 7.6-cent increase.
The average price of gasoline now costs at least $3.50 in 42 of the 50 states and the District of Columbia, according to the AAA's Daily Fuel Gauge Report.
Meanwhile, the average price of diesel rose 3.7 cents during the week to $3.919 cents per gallon. Diesel now costs an average of 8.1 cents more than it did a year ago.
