Bookings are open for the 2013 Australasian Fleet Management Association (AfMA) Fleet Awards Gala Dinner, which will be held on September 12 in Sydney.
Bookings are open for the 2013 Australasian Fleet Management Association (AfMA) Fleet Awards Gala Dinner, which will be held on September 12 in Sydney.
Since their introduction in 1996 the awards have recognized new approaches and applications that have produced substantial reductions in costs, lowered emissions and improved safety outcomes.
Drawing attention to advances in fleet management techniques, the application of technology, fleet safety and raising awareness of the fleets’ impact on the environment, the Awards have inspired many to begin their own voyage towards best practice, according to the event’s organizers.
The winners will be revealed at the dinner event in front of more than 100 attendees, which this year will be held at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf in Pyrmont, Sydney.
The categories are:
Fleet Manager Of The Year: Supported by Nissan Fleet and Shell, this Award is presented to an individual demonstrating excellence across the field of Fleet Management.
Fleet Environment Award: Supported by Toyota Fleet and Toyota Fleet Management, this award is presented to an organisation for outstanding achievement in running a green fleet as part of a sustainable fleet policy.
Fleet Safety Award: Supported by Smartfleet and endorsed by ANCAP, this Award is presented to an organisation demonstrating best practice in Fleet Safety.
While the focus of the evening is the announcement of the AfMA Fleet Awards, the dinner also provides an ideal opportunity for individuals to network, strengthen business relationships and share ideas, according to organizers.
