Missouri Auto Auction and the Boswell family recently celebrated 25 years of operation with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and $25,000 in giveaways at the company’s five-lane facility in Columbia, Missouri.

25 Years of Growth

Founded in August 2000 by Gregg and Dagmar Boswell, Missouri Auto Auction has grown as an independent, family-owned business with a focus on customer service.

“As an independent auction, our success has been built on strong relationships and personalized service,” said Cody Boswell, owner and vice president, in a recent news release. “From our first sale to today, we’ve grown together mile by mile.”

Leadership Perspective

“On behalf of our family, we thank our loyal customers, dedicated employees, and trusted partners for being an essential part of this journey,” added Candice Boswell-Bray, owner. “We look forward to continued growth in the years ahead.”

General Manager Justin Brown credited the auction’s dealer and consignor base for its longevity. “We couldn’t have achieved this milestone without their trust and support,” he said.

Operations Today

Missouri Auto Auction runs on a 22-acre property, offering 500 vehicles weekly across five simultaneous lanes. The facility includes full reconditioning and mechanical services, in-house transportation with a fleet of company-owned trucks, and integration with AutoIMS and Simulcast for both in-lane and online sales.
