VinFast Names New Global and U.S. B2B Leads for the EV OEM
The Vietnam-headquartered EV manufacturer has named Eric Lelarge head of B2B global sales and Kevin Neal VP B2B sales for the U.S. The VinFast U.S. operations are headquartered in Playa Vista, Calif. The company will start U.S. eSUV production in July 2024 in Chatnam County, North Carolina.
VinFast produces electric vehicles and recently delivered its first models to American fleets.

Eric Lelarge was named head of global B2B sales for VinFast, the newest EV OEM to enter the U.S. fleet market. Lelarge will be based at the VinFast global corporate headquarters in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Lelarge has extensive experience in B2B sales. Earlier, he was general manager mobility services and insurance products North America for BMW Financial Services, where he was responsible for three business lines: Corporate Fleet, Insurance, and Subscription/Mobility. Lelarge has extensive experience in the fleet leasing and management market having worked for Alphabet International, ING Car Lease International, and LeasePlan International.

In other news, Kevin Neal has been named VP B2B sales U.S. for VinFast US. He assumed this position in July 2022 and is based in Alpharetta, Georgia. Previously, Neal was global corporate fleet sales director for LeasePlan. Earlier, Neal was director of operations - global corporate sales for Nissan Motor Corp. from 2013-2019.
VinFast will build an assembly plant in Chatham County, southwest of Raleigh, North Carolina, to build its eSUVs in the U.S., with production targeted to start in July 2024.
The VinFast U.S. headquarters is located in Los Angeles in an area known as "Silicon Beach," which includes a large concentration of tech companies, such as Space X, YouTube, and Amazon
