ALD Automotive launched a new flexible mobility solution that provides an all-inclusive vehicle offering for fleets for mid-term usage, ranging from one month to two years on average, at an optimal set monthly rate.
The solution, ALD Flex, offers the advantage of fully serviced vehicles and on demand availability, to help corporate fleet managers address their medium-term mobility needs, and features full maintenance, insurance, tires, breakdown assistance, and more.
ALD Flex is available from launch in 19 countries worldwide, according to the company. This includes France, Spain, UK, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Portugal, Poland, Hungary, Algeria, Morocco, Colombia, Peru, and Chile.
“Greater flexibility in mobility is essential in uncertain times such as the current context, but also supports long-term strategies by allowing fleet managers to diversify their mobility strategy, simplify the overall management of their mobility resources through one single provider and optimize total cost of mobility by maximizing vehicle usage as needed,” said John Saffrett, Deputy CEO of ALD.
A broad range of vehicle categories, from compact cars to light utility vehicles, are available for immediate use and vehicles can be selected by budget, type of transmission, powertrain, and CO2 emissions. Additional flexibility allows contracts to be terminated after one month at no extra cost.
A dedicated booking website, designed with ALD Automotive’s market leading digital platform, allows fleet managers to manage the entire rental process online. Real-time data is also available for reporting requirements.
Flexible mobility solutions are a valuable option for fleet managers when faced with managing shorter-term mobility requirements like temporary projects, probation periods for new employees or seasonal peaks. They are also an effective way to introduce new types of mobility like electric vehicles.
ALD Flex will be available in 30 countries worldwide by mid-2021.
