Wright Express announced on November 14 that it has reached an agreement to develop and manage a joint fleet card program through a strategic alliance with Merchants Leasing, an independent automotive leasing company. As part of the new five-year cobranded arrangement, Wright Express, a provider of fuel cards and fleet management services, will service more than 3,100 new cards and add more than 200 new accounts to its cobrand portfolio. New Hampshire-based Merchants Leasing offers closed-ended leasing programs that include insurance, license and title programs as well as customer service. Wright Express cobrand programs are designed for companies that already provide vehicle-related services to the commercial market. Once a fleet card program is developed, Wright Express provides the level of service desired by the company. The Wright Express logo and that of the cobrand partner appear on every card.
