DES PLAINES, IL - Wheels, Inc., a leader in the multi-billion dollar fleet-leasing industry, recently announced the development and introduction of the latest addition to its vehicle telematics services, offered in partnership with Business Bridge a new service announced this week by General Motors Fleet and Commercial Operations. The new service collects and integrates specific vehicle-health data for General Motors vehicles in company fleets for future analysis, helping to make decisions on a wide range of critical program elements.

A key problem for fleets is poor access to accurate data like odometer readings, which drive virtually every strategic cost-oriented decision, from replacement planning to driver risk assessments.  Inaccurate data can lead to costly errors in those decisions.

Wheels Telematics program now offers the best of both worlds. Data such as odometer and tire pressure are integrated with Wheels online fleet management tool FleetView® and will serve to help with key strategic priorities including driver safety, environmental programs, job productivity and cost management.
