Wheels Inc., a leader in the fleet-leasing industry, announced that it has named Dave Decker as its new manager of Truck Engineering. The Truck Engineering group, with experience from light- to heavy-duty trucks and equipment, supports Wheels truck clients with specialized upfitting needs by designing and validating specifications based on the vehicle’s intended use, selecting body companies, and managing the upfitting process. A veteran of the trucking industry, Decker’s prior experience includes overseeing sales of upfitting truck equipment on a factory ship-thru and bailment pool basis at Canfield Equipment Service, Inc. Prior to Canfield Equipment, Decker was manager of Truck Operations at McCullagh Leasing where he managed all functions related to the engineering and factory ordering of trucks and upfitting equipment. Decker has a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich. He and his wife Rose are currently relocating from Michigan to the Chicago area.
