PARIS & DES PLAINES, IL – ALD Automotive and Wheels Inc., which in 2009 signed a commercial partnership to offer a comprehensive global fleet management program, announced they will jointly manage all new business and large operations in the U.S. market through Wheels - ALD Automotive.

When the commercial partnership was announced April 2, 2009, ALD Automotive decided to continue to operate its existing ALD Automotive USA business unit, based in Madison, Wis. In January 2010, ALD Automotive made a strategic decision to wind down new-business development activities of ALD Automotive USA and not accept new orders from clients. All new orders will now be administered and managed by Wheels Inc.

"Our team of coworkers will still be there and our vendor and supplier agreements will stay in place until the last vehicle goes off the books," said Miel Horsten, chief executive officer for ALD Automotive USA. "Our team will continue to manage and serve all our existing clients for the duration of their agreements with our company. As always, our goal will be to ensure the high quality service levels our clients are used to receiving, and to continue to provide all the services we offer until the last vehicle comes off the books. We are very appreciative for the loyalty shown by our clients and are proud to be a part of their fleet solutions."

Horsten also expressed his overwhelming gratitude to his staff for their superior professionalism and ongoing support. "I am grateful to have such a highly skilled and loyal staff," he said.
