WEX Inc. will begin managing the fleet fuel card program of Valero Energy Corp. under a new partnership, the Portland, Maine-based payment provider has announced.
The agreement will be fully implemented by April 1, according to WEX.

WEX Inc. will begin managing the fleet fuel card program of Valero Energy Corp. under a new partnership, the Portland, Maine-based payment provider has announced.
The agreement will be fully implemented by April 1, according to WEX.
WEX plans to enhance the technology and service of the fuel card program, including introducing mobile payments. The companies previously maintained a card acceptance agreement.
Valero, the largest global independent refiner, supplies more than 5,000 branded fuel stations from California to Florida. The Fortune 50 company is based in San Antonio, Texas. The company operates 15 petroleum refineries with a capacity of about 3.1 million barrels per day.
Valero is also a major producer of ethanol and renewable diesel.
