Volvo recently introduced its Volvo S60L PPHEV (Petrol Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) Concept Car at the 2014 Beijing International Auto Show, as well as announcing the availability of the MY-2015 Volvo V60 Plug-in Hybrid.
The 238-hp S60L PPHEV Drive-E gasoline turbo and plug-in hybrid will be launched in China early 2015 and will be produced at the Chengdu plant. The vehicle is equipped with three driving modes (Pure, Hybrid or Power), which be selected via three buttons. The S60L PPHEV Concept Car can be recharged from a regular power outlet at home or in a car park. The recharging time, from 4.5 hours to 4.0 hours, varies with the amperage.
