WASHINGTON, D.C. --- Volvo Trucks is recalling more than 127,700 MY 2001-2008 VHD, VNL, VNM and VT trucks because of a problem with the windshield wiper motor.
A seal may fail, allowing water and contaminants to seep into the windshield wiper motor. Over time, this condition could cause a short circuit to occur, posing a fire risk, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website reported.
Volvo will soon notify owners of precautions they can take until repairs can be made, NHTSA said.
