Volvo Trucks will introduce its new truck range to Asia over a two-week event in Seoul, South Korea, in mid-May. With the launch of the renewed offer, Volvo Trucks is aiming to strengthen its position in the South Korean truck market.

''Volvo Trucks' solutions are not just about providing top-quality premium trucks, that is just one component. Being able to offer premium solutions and services as well as a good dealer network is also critical,“ said Christophe Martin, president of Volvo Group Trucks Asia Oceania Sales, while appearing as a special guest on the CNBC news and investor program “Street Signs”.

The introduction of the new range comes with the goal to further support this comprehensive approach, linked with a wide range of new services that are holistically designed with customers' needs and business challenges in mind, according to Volvo.

Selected customers will have the chance to experience the new truck range first hand during the two-weeks launch event for Asia, taking place in mid-May in Seoul, South Korea.

In Europe and some other parts of the world, Volvo Trucks has already introduced its new range to much acclaim: the new Volvo FH began with its global launch in 2012, followed by the new Volvo FM, Volvo FMX, Volvo FE and Volvo FL - all in 2013.

The models of the new range include innovations and features that make the driver’s job easier and more efficient, according to the company. The trucks have proven to be popular with fleet owners and drivers alike. To date, Volvo has delivered some 21,000 units of the new range globally since January 2013.

Propelled by the success of the new range in Europe, the ambition of Volvo Trucks in Asia is clear, according to Martin. “We have great expectations for this new range. With this most innovative Volvo Trucks line-up ever, we can help our customers to meet their business needs, and improve their productivity and profitability. We want our customers to perceive Volvo Trucks as the No.1 truck brand to own,“ Martin said.
