Volvo Cars of North America will begin offering a lifetime parts and labor warranty for vehicles serviced after the factory warranty at Volvo dealers, the automaker has announced.
"Volvo customers can expect to pay once and never pay again for replacement Volvo parts and labor, excluding accessories and wear items, for as long as they own their car," according to a Volvo release. Wear items include belts, tires, and brake pads.
Essentially the warranty protects Volvo owners who are out of warranty coverage from multiple replacements of the same part and the associated labor costs.
Volvo is adding this warranty to its Volvo Service Advantage Program. Volvo owners will also receive software updates at no charge, complimentary diagnostics, personal service, alternative transportation, and a complimentary car wash.
